Jiangsu Aolan Engineering Glass Co., Ltd. has recently established an international industry-academia-research collaboration and successfully signed an agreement with Finland's Picosun Oy. As a world-leading supplier of ALD technology and integrated system solutions, Picosun brings decades of extensive experience in ALD equipment design and manufacturing. Picosun's ALD systems are widely used by numerous well-known industries across the globe. Based on this friendly cooperation, the two parties are expected to establish a joint venture in Jiangsu Province.

The joint venture will develop and produce the world’s largest ALD systems. Leveraging Picosun’s atomic layer deposition technology, it aims to provide commercial solutions for energy harvesting, storage, and environmental protection to the rapidly growing clean technology market. The joint venture project has also received support from China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Business Finland (the Finnish public agency for innovation funding and trade promotion).

The signing ceremony was held in Beijing, China, led by a Finnish industry and commerce delegation headed by Finnish Prime Minister Mr. Katainen and the Finnish Minister of the Environment. The event was also witnessed by Mr. Li Junfeng, Director of China’s International Cooperation Center.
